Get answers to common questions about Half Lip Filler (1/2 Syringe).
Most clients enjoy subtle improvement for approximately 6–9 months, though longevity varies with metabolism, lifestyle, and product used. A half-syringe provides less volume than full syringes, so maintenance may be needed sooner depending on your desired fullness.
Your 45-minute visit starts with a consultation and informed consent. Topical numbing is applied, then precise micro-injections are administered. Expect brief swelling or tenderness. We review aftercare and schedule any follow-up or touch-up if needed.
Discomfort is typically minimal. Treatments include topical anesthetic and many fillers contain lidocaine. You may feel brief pinches or pressure, but most clients tolerate the procedure well and return to normal activities shortly after.
Ideal candidates are healthy adults seeking a subtle, natural enhancement or first-time filler clients. Not recommended during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or with certain blood-clotting disorders. A clinical consultation will determine suitability and review medical history.
You’ll notice immediate fullness, but initial swelling can exaggerate results. Lips typically settle into their final shape within 7–14 days. If needed, we recommend a follow-up at two weeks to assess and adjust for ideal symmetry.
Avoid heavy exercise, excessive heat, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications for 24–48 hours. Use ice for swelling, keep the area clean, avoid massaging unless instructed, and follow up if unusual pain, lumps, or prolonged bruising occurs.
